How to Join

Thank you for your interest in =Crusader Clan=!

 

Before applying for membership, please consider the following:

 

* Applicants should ensure that they have read and understand our Clan Charter Rules before applying. Please feel free to ask questions of any Clan member.

 

* Applicants must have finished the Academy, completed at least 5 quests and reached at least level 15

 

* =Crusader Clan= values respect for other members. We endeavor to respect each other's right to give opinions, so that everyone feels free to participate freely in discussions. We do not tolerate name-calling, swearing at members, or any other types of personal attacks. Members should be aware that occasional swearing (not directed as an attack at other members) or off-color jokes may occur on our Clan channel.

 

* Crusaders represent their Clan in the game and should strive to set the best possible example. Members must comply with Aardwolf game rules at all times.

 

* Members should be as active as possible in Clan activities. Members should be willing to donate time, money, and effort to the Clan, to help with Clan events, to read messages on our Clan board, and to participate in Clan discussions and votes.

 

* We are a "helping clan." This means that we assist other players, such as by giving equipment bags to newbies, providing spell-ups and corpse retrievals, and advising newcomers about the game. We require a minimum of 15 Activity Points each month for a member to advance in Clan rank.

 

* We are a no-PK clan and do not participate in clan-wide wars or player killing. The Clan does allow members to take part in race/class wars, wars not involving the clan as a whole and duels.

 

* Members must maintain good or neutral alignment. If a member becomes evil-aligned, he/she must change alignment to good or neutral within 48 hours.

 

* Clan rank is a recognition of contributions to the clan and its activities. Rank does not bring "power" within the clan.

 

* We are theme-oriented but not roleplay-oriented. Roleplay is optional.

 

* Please complete a Membership Application and include answers to these questions in your application, along with any other information you'd like for us to know. Please post your application TO CRUSADER on the PERSONAL BOARD with the subject CLAN APPLICATION. (Crusaders, with the s, will NOT deliver your note to us.) So basically, you need to type board personal and then note write crusader.

 

1. Is the character applying for membership your main character in Aardwolf?

2. Why do you want to join =Crusader Clan=?

3. Why do you wish to be part of a non-PK clan?

4. Have you ever been a member of another clan? If so, why did you leave that clan?

5. What sorts of Clan activities would you be willing to participate in?

(Some suggestions: provide newbie bags, perform corpse retrievals, provide spell-ups to players, offer mud-wide games/events on behalf of the clan, assist with Clan participation in game-wide festivals.)

 

* Applicants should request and participate in interviews with as many members as possible. Voting by Clan members on the application will close one week after the posting of the application. We will notify applicants of the results by message on the Personal Board.
